Embark on a Musical Journey with Into the Woods presented by Rome Little Theatre- DeSoto Theatre – Dec. 2 – 11

Classic fairy tale characters Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Jack, and more find their stories intertwined with a baker and his wife, whose desire for a child sends them on a quest to reverse a witch’s curse. When everyone’s wishes are granted, they’ll live happily ever after. Or will they?

Experience Christmas Like Never Before with Oak Hill Historic Christmas Tours – Oak Hill & Martha Berry Museum – Dec. 2 & 9

Oak Hill & The Martha Berry Museum will ring in the Christmas season with a new tradition – This year, the Oak Hill mansion has been decorated in a manner that the Berry Family of the late 19th century would recognize – decorations reflect the traditions and tastes of the Victorian era, and tours will highlight the customs that would have been familiar to Martha Berry. Guests will hear how Christmas came to be celebrated in the United States and learn about the unique traditions found in Southern households of the time.

Get into the Holiday Spirit with Lessons and Carols presented by Berry College Concert Choir and Symphony Orchestra – Dec. 3 – Free

Drawing upon the traditions of the Lessons and Carols Services in England, the Berry College Choirs will perform in the beautiful Berry College Chapel. The joyous occasion will feature traditional scripture readings paired with renaissance motets, new compositions and familiar carols.
