2016 is the year of music for Georgia. Here’s a list of all the music events in Rome that won’t break the bank!

1.) Rome River Jam 2016 – May 13 & 14

The biggest concert in Rome takes place at beautiful Ridge Ferry Park. This year’s headliners are Sammy Kershaw and Corey Smith! Get tickets.

2.) Art Walk & Block Party – May 21 – Free

Enjoy live music as you shop local artists at the Town Green. The Art Walk will be followed by a block party concert featuring INFINITY SHOW BAND. This event helps kick off a season of street festivals in downtown Rome! Learn more.

3.) First Friday Concert – June 3 – Free

Bring your lawnchairs and blankets and enjoy a family-friendly concert on the Bridgepoint Plaza lawn in Downtown Rome. The free concert features local favorites South of Heaven and Jerry on the Moon! Learn more.

4.) First Friday Concert – July 1 – Free

Kicking off a patriotic weekend in downtown, hear the sweet sounds of the Georgia Blues Brothers, the greatest Blues Brothers Tribute band in the state. This concert is guaranteed to be hoppin’.

5.) Downtown Rome Block Party – July 2 – Free

Come out and enjoy Rome’s very own, Tim Reynolds, who’s even caught the attention of Taylor Swift, and always draws a big crowd. Enjoy dinner before the concert in beautiful downtown!

6.) First Friday Concert – Aug. 5 – Free

The First Friday Concert series goes out with a bang with a live performance from Ellie Lawrence from The Voice. Invite your family and friends to join you for seating on the Bridgepoint Plaza lawn.

7.) Rome Symphony Orchestra – June 11

Bring a picnic and your dancing shoes as the fabulous Clock Tower Jazz Ensemble holds its Traditional Pops Concert at the Darlington School!
