Showcasing local artists and Georgia Made, Georgia Grown products, the Last Stop Gift Shop is proud to host the Spring Art Market for the fourth year. The event will take place at the Rome Civic Center from April 2 – 3, and will feature artists and authors from around the state of Georgia.
The market will take place on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 a.m. on Sunday. Event admission and parking are free.
“We are very excited about our next art market, and look forward to sharing with our customers the wealth of talent that we have here locally in Rome,” said Charlene Mathis, gift shop manager.
The market will showcase over 50 artists from a multitude of disciplines, from fine painters to crafters to makers of local food products.
The family-friendly event will also feature door prizes, music and multiple food vendors to satisfy a diverse set of appetites.
The Spring Art Market is sponsored by the Greater Rome Convention & Visitors Bureau (GRCVB) and the Last Stop Gift Shop. The market is part of the GRCVB initiative to support and build the local arts community by creating opportunities to increase the visibility of their talents.
