ROME, GA. — The Rome-Floyd Tennis Center is hosting the first “Teach Me Tennis” Tournament this Saturday, March 21 at 10:00 a.m. The tournament is part of a free community tennis celebration featuring a live DJ, music, and games.

“Teach Me Tennis” introduces tennis to students at local elementary schools.  Local juniors participating in the program will compete in Saturday’s tournament which will be followed by an awards ceremony. “Our goal is to create a fun and relaxed environment for the “Teach Me Tennis” tournament players,” says Rome-Floyd Tennis Director, David Araiza. “The public is invited to cheer on our junior players and also enjoy numerous fun activities planned for the day.”

The tournament is one of many March Into Tennis month events where the public is encouraged to attend. For a full calendar of March Into Tennis activities and tennis programs visit www.cvta.us.
